The Racing2Day project was an exciting opportunity for the Digital Design team to work with one of the market leaders in online gaming.
Racing2Day has gone from a start-up to one of the most sucessful online gambling companies in the world in little over 2 years. Using a pari-mutuel betting system, the company allows users to place bets on US and International horse racing events securely over the internet and receive real-time information on results.
Vincent Caldwell, Managing Director of Racing2Day, has worked with Digital Design and PDMS on previous ventures and knew that they would be the right partnership for his latest project. The company was especially keen to use PDMS Foundations software which allows information to be managed and sorted with the minimum amount of administrative effort. He said,
"We were not only impressed by the flexibility and scalability of PDMS' Foundations software which is crucial for a new and rapidly expanding business venture, but also their in-depth knowledge of the industry".
Digital Design's contribution to the project was to deliver a bespoke website design which reflected the company's commitment to the highest professional standards, while at the same time retaining the ambience of website, and company, that is passionate about entertainment.
The Racing2Day website is a sophisticated and information rich development, which meant a challenging design phase for the team. A particularly notable part of the design was the creation of an innovative wager slip interface that allows users to place a number of different bet types, for example exacta, trifecta, quinella, from the same online form.
