Digital Design worked with local company Paddy's, to create a new online shop, ('Hooked on Fish') expanding the company’s retail business to an expanding market.
Paddy's offer a tantalising range of locally caught seafood, along with uniquely Manx gifts, all of which are now available to purchase from the website. Some of the most popular delicacies are the increasingly popular Manx Queenies, as well as luxury Manx foodie gift packs such as Mannanin's Cloak.
The work was carried out as part of the Isle of Man Government Department of Trade and Industry’s Venda Support Scheme, which gives local small businesses the opportunity to use the Venda small business platform to build an online shop at a fraction of the cost they would incur when using Venda independently.
Managing Director of Paddy's, Tim Croft, recognised the potential benefits of the Venda Support Scheme and was early to sign up to the popular scheme. Digital Design are an accredited supplier of Venda for the scheme and as a local web design team with a wealth of experience in designing and building similar websites, Digital Design were a natural partnership for Paddy's.
As part of the scheme, the design team provided advice and practical support ranging from web design to marketing, Search Engine Optimisation and copywriting.
