Named after Conister Rock, one of the Isle of Man’s most photographed landmarks, Conister Trust is one of the Isle of Man's largest and oldest financial institutions, specialising in asset finance, savings and loans.
Conister Trust approached Digital Design to provide a standards-based xhtml and css template for a new website to replace their existing site as the organisation was undergoing a rebranding exercise.
Although the project was straightforward in most respects, the timescale was extremely short as the bew brand needed to be live at the same time as the parent company's rebrand.
In order to get new site up and running in less than three weeks from design to deployment, Digital Design worked to a very strict project plan and delivered the new site on time three weeks later.
Week 1: Project initiation. Agree scope, draft site map, and get sign off from client
Week 2: Design. Create flat design mockups in jpeg format, iterate designs and get sign off from client
Week 3: Develop and test. Implement site design in xhtml and css, add content supplied by client, develop contact form functionality, browser testing and fixes. Delivery of site files for release to client's own server.
