We are delighted to host Forward Ladies Isle of Man (formerly Isle of Man Women in Business) for a social media masterclass on the evening of 7 July 2010.
The masterclass, run by Sherrilynne Starkie, will cover how Facebook, Twitter, blogging and other online networks can help a business.
Participants will learn how social media are changing the way people communicate and how businesses can leverage social networks to drive in sales leads, enhance reputation and improve customer and staff relationships. Learning points include:
- What is social media?
- How are social media used in marketing, innovation, communications and HR?
- What are the benefits to individuals and organisations
- What simple steps to getting started.
Forward Ladies is the North’s fastest growing, women’s networking and business support organisations with more than 11,000 members. Isle of Man Women in Business became part of Forward Ladies in May 2010.
The social media masterclass is open to all Forward Ladies, their guests and non-members.
